Located 6 km (3.7 miles) from the city center, about 5 hours round trip. There are two paths, one steeper than the other, the choice is yours. Walk through the homes of the Arusha natives (Wa Arusha), close relatives of the Maasai people. This beautiful walking trail offers stunning views of Arusha city. You may encounter Blue monkeys and Colobus monkeys. We recommend starting your walk in the morning after breakfast. Lake Duluti is a volcanic crater lake located 14 km (8.7 miles) from Arusha city. Enjoy views of Mount Meru and sometimes Kilimanjaro. Spot monkeys, monitor lizards, and many bird species. If the trip is on Wednesday or Saturday, visit the famous Tengeru local market. This leisure walk can be a romantic nature treat. Choose to ride with your private guide in a taxi or take a mini bus.
